Managing crew: It starts at onboarding

The management of crew and their welfare have been a growing topic of discussion over recent years. Whilst much can be achieved during their time onboard, effective management of crew begins before they take their first step on the gangway. This session explores HR processes and their implementation within the yachting industry, including the information we should share with crew before they board, handbooks and SEA's, and the effective use of management, to create informed and prepared crews.
